PADI Dive Courses
Bubble Maker
It’s fun, easy and safe and designed for children aged 8 and above. They need to be comfortable in the water, but they don’t have to be great swimmers as the max depth is only 2m.

The course lasts about an hour and is conducted by one of our PADI instructors. It requires no pre-training and the equipment used is designed for children ensurng a good fit
Discover Scuba Diving
Short of time? Want to give it a try first? Begin the adventure and broaden your horizons with the worlds most popular introduction to diving.

In less than ½ a day you will have the knowledge and skills to join your instructor on your first dive. Ideal activity for friends and families to experience together.

Skills learned may be credited toward the Open Water Diver certification if taken within 12months.
Scuba Diver
A pre-entry level certification that qualifies you to dive under the supervision of a Divemaster or higher level of professional ranking. This course comprises of the Open Water Diver first three knowledge development sessions and the first three training dives, followed by the first two open water dives.

Complete the remaining knowledge development, training and open water dives to attain the full Open Water diver certification, see below.

Includes PADI certification, manual and log book.
Open Water Diver (OWD)
A full entry level certification that allows you to dive independently. Our instructors will take you through the basics of learning how to dive so you can explore a whole new world.

The course comprises of five training dives, four open water dives and five knowledge development sessions.

Prerequisites include; good health; reasonable fitness; and being comfortable in the water. Age restrictions are 10 for Jnr OWD diver and 15 for OWD diver. Includes PADI certification, manual and log book.
Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD)
Try some of divings most rewarding and useful specialty activities. Skills that make diving much more than underwater sightseeing. Plus, the AOWD course takes you one step closer to Master Scuba diver (see below).

To boost your confidence deep and underwater navigation are compulsory. Choose three further dives from more than 14, including; boat diver; digital photography; night diver; nitrox; peak performance diver; search & rescue; and wreck diver to complete your course. Includes PADI certification, manual and log book.
Emergency First Response (EFR)
A prerequisite for the Rescue diver course, EFR gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies. Not just in the diving world, but in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues.

It encompasses CPR and first aid for adults, children and infants and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training. Includes EFR certification and Participants Pack.
Rescue Diver
Expand your knowledge and experience level, learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Rescue diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies.

You'll cover; self-rescue and diver stress; emergency management and equipment; panicked diver response; in-water rescue breathing protocols; egress (exits); and dive accident scenarios.

You will need to be an AOWD (or equivalent from another organisation). Many divers say this is the best course they've ever taken and the most challenging! Includes EFR certification and Participants Pack.
Master Scuba Diver
The highest non professional level in the PADI system of diver education. It means that you've acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

Prerequisistes are; a minimum of 50 logged dives; be a Rescue diver or Jnr Rescue diver (or equivalent from another organisation); 12 years old; and have a min of five Specialty diver certifications.

Divemaster
Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you will expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. Develop leadership abilities that qualify you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

You put this knowledge into action through an internship or series of practical training exercises. For details on course length, internship and cost please contact us.

Prerequisites are; AOW diver; PADI Rescue diver (or equivalent from another organisation); 20 logged dives; and be a min of 18 years old. You will need 60 logged dives before certification as a PADI Divemaster.
Assistant Instructor
The first part of the Instructor Development Course (IDC) is the Assistant Instructor course, providing additional experience and teaching you the PADI System of diver education. Under the supervision of an Instructor you will; teach knowledge development; evaluate OWD surface skills; teach the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course; teach the Project AWARE Specialty course; conduct Discover Scuba experiences; and teach Emergency First Response.

Prerequisites are Divemaster or qualifying certification from another organisation; at least 18 years old; 60 logged dives; proof of CPR and first aid training within the last 24 months
Open Water Scuba Instructor

Prerequisites: PADI Assistant Instructor certification or be an instructor in good standing with another training organisation for at least six months; hold a dive certification for at least six months; have 60 logged dives that include night, deep and navigation dives; proof of CPR training within the last 24 months; and have medical clearance signed by a doctor.
