Join the celebrations of our move down the beach to Ganet Sinai Hotel! It took a week to move everything including not one but two very heavy compressors! Diving was not interrupted, everything ran smoothly and fits perfectly like a snug sock! Thank you to everyone who helped with the move, it was very tiring especially with it being so hot and through Ramadan! After an hours boat trip from Dahab we arrived at Gabr el-Bint. A beautiful dive site with a dramatic back drop of the mountains. The sun had only been up an hour or so and the light was very dramatic and dancing on the crystal clear water. I could not wait to jump in.
After our briefing we got kited up, did our buddy checks jumped in. The water was beautiful and the best way to wake up in a morning. We dropped down onto the top of the reef and followed it along. The reef is full of life including parrotfish, lionfish, snapper and beautiful corals like Gorgonia and Tubinaria.
This dive site is hard to reach and so there are very few visitors meaning the reef is very well protected and in very good condition. This means that there are lots of fish to be seen and some times even turtles.
We had an amazing dive with lots to see and im already looking forward to the next one.
